- 4TH FESTIVAL 1988 "EUROPÄISCHES SCHWULES CHORFESTIVAL" BERLIN
May 21 - 22, 1988 4TH FESTIVAL 1988 "EUROPÄISCHES SCHWULES CHORFESTIVAL" BERLIN MÄNNER-MINNE SCHWULER MÄNNERCHOR BERLIN E.V. The peculiarity of the "4th European Gay Choir Festival" 1988 in Berlin was that two lesbian choirs participated here: "Sappho and the Heartbreakers" and the "Neue Berliner Damenchor" as the absolute audience favorites. Berlin's cultural senator had taken over the patronage, and the very beautiful festival took place in the Congress Hall in the Tiergarten Berlin. MÄNNER-MINNE SCHWULER MÄNNERCHOR BERLIN E.V. - ROSAKEHLCHEN
ROSAKEHLCHEN E.V. Bitteschön: Hier finden Sie alles über unser Programm, die Musik, Pressestimmen, unsere Geschichte, Bilder, Plakate und vieles mehr. mostly rock/pop/musicals, some classical WEBSITE INSTAGRAM TWITTER FACEBOOK 1997 Manage your Choir information Now you can change, add or remove the information about your choir Want to change your profile picture? - RICCHITONI
RICCHITONI BARI ITALY Type: SATB Members: 11 Founded: 2018 ABOUT Il primo coro LGBT* Pugliese, ed è aperto a tutte e tutti. We are Puglia’s first LGBT* choir open to all. RicchiToni was formed on 25 March 2018 with support from Cromatica LGBT. In November 2018 RicchiToni began a collaboration with MiXED lgbti for their 2018 Christmas season. That collaboration ended prior to the launch of the 2019 "revolution / evolution" season. Why RicchiToni? Our name is a play on the Italian word “ricchioni”, a derogatory term used to describe gay people. By adding the “T”, the word becomes ricchi(T)oni, literally “rich tones”, the sound that we aspire to when singing, allowing us to reclaim the insult, turning it into something beautiful and aspirational! - SONGBIRDS CHOIR
SONGBIRDS CHOIR CARDIFF UNITED KINGDOM Founded: 2012 Type: SSAA # Wonderful Supporting members 0 # Wonderful members 27 ABOUT Hello! We are Cardiff’s Songbirds, a non-auditioning community choir for LGBTQ+ women, trans, and non-binary people. Since we were founded in 2012 we have proudly fostered a culture of inclusivity, creating a supportive and welcoming space where members can find friendship, joy, and create a harmonious sound. We rehearse once a week in Cardiff and perform all over the local area when we can, often for local charities, representing the LGBTQ+ community and, importantly, enjoying ourselves in the process. The ethos of the choir is acceptance and fun; we are a community and a family, and we place more importance on inclusivity than being note-perfect (although, thanks to our Musical Director Lizzie, we do make a beautiful sound)! We put on our own concerts once or twice a year and often perform at Pride events across South Wales. We’ve sung at events held by Stonewall, Cardiff University and Ty Hafan, as well as weddings, carol services, and joint events with our friends South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus and Cardiff Trans Singers. The three groups co-hosted the Hand in Hand Festival in Cardiff in August 2019. We are always delighted to welcome new members to our choir. equally mixed classic/rock/pop/musicals WEBSITE INSTAGRAM TWITTER FACEBOOK 2024 Manage your Choir information Now you can change, add or remove the information about your choir Want to change your profile picture?
