5 Tips to Get a Shoutout on Instagram Want to know how top Instagram users are attracting thousands of followers? Then you'll want to know all about how Instagram shoutouts work. If you're willing to learn how to master this insane follower-building trend, you could have a very popular account as little as a few weeks or months. What Are Instagram Shoutouts? An Instagram shoutout is just what it sounds like. It's basically a public plug or endorsement you can get from another user. Here's how shoutouts work: Consider two different Instagram users who are trying to build their followers. The two users will agree to give each other a shoutout post on their accounts by posting a photo or a video and instructing their own followers to go ahead and follow the other account. Shoutout posts often involve photos or videos from the account they're shouting out. This is one of the fastest and most effective ways to build followers on Instagram. Unfortunately, getting a great shoutout is not as easy as it sounds. It requires networking with others and a sometimes a willingness to feature other users' content on your own account as part of the shoutout or s4s agreement. If you want to get a shoutout that gets the best results (a.k.a. lots more followers), there are a few things you should know first. Use the following five tips to guide you in your first quest to getting a great Instagram shoutout. 01) Find Other Instagram Users With Content Similar to Yours If you post a lot of photos of food and healthy recipes on Instagram, chances are you won't have much luck if you target a user for a shoutout partnership who mainly posts about sports. Even if that user did agree to a shoutout, you probably wouldn't get many followers out of it, because that user's followers want to see sports content — not food content. Your best bet is to find other users who share similar interests with you based on their content. because their followers are the ones who will notice your stuff and decide to follow you. 02 ) Find Other Instagram Users Who Have a Similar Number of Followers As You Some users include short blurbs in their Instagram bios to inform followers that they're open to doing shoutouts. But if that user has 100K+ followers and you've only got 50, don't even bother contacting them. Most of the time, users will only agree to a shoutout if the both of you have a similar amount of followers. It's only fair. Once you work your way up to at least one thousand followers, it gets a lot easier to do shoutouts with other users who are interested in growing their followers. 03) Like, Comment or Follow Other Users Profiles Before Asking for a Shoutout Manners go a long away on social media — especially on a platform like Instagram where everyone wants instant gratification. It's only polite to engage with the users who you want to ask for a shoutout and it shows that you're interested in their content. Try giving their photos or videos a few likes, comment on them and even follow them to let them know you're serious. Remember that social media — including Instagram — is all about engagement. A little social media interaction can go a long way, and it's the simplest way to network with others online. 04) Avoid Spamming Other Instagram Users with Comments on Their Posts Some users get a little too eager about finding people to ask for a shoutout, so they end up spamming tons of photos with comments that say "s4s?" or something generic about how great their content/profile is, without even looking at the account's full Instagram profile or engaging with them first. That's not the way to do it. Don't spam users just to get noticed. You should always find targeted users with similar content and followers, and then start out by engaging a little with them first. 05) Contact Other Instagram Users via Email or Instagram Direct You've now done the research by looking for Instagram users who post content similar to what you post and have around the same amount of followers as you. You've resisted the temptation to ask for a "s4s" by leaving a random comment on a post, and instead took the time to engage and interact — leaving genuine non-spammy comments. Now you can directly contact the user to ask them if they'd be interested in a shoutout. First, look for an email button (if their profile is a business account) or an email address typed in their bio. If none is listed, try reaching them instead through an Instagram Direct private message. When you message another user, make it personable. Commenting on something specific about their profile or content will let them know that you're not just another spammer. Reminder: Focus on Making Real Connections with Other Instagram Users

- MELO MEN
MÉLO'MEN PARIS FRANCE Type: TTBB Founded: 1994 # Wonderful Supporting members 10 # Wonderful members 51 ABOUT Comprising 70 men representing 8 different nationalities, Melo'Men was created in Paris in 1994. John Dawkins, Musical and Artistic Director since 1996, composes music for the choir on a regular basis. Classical music - both secular and sacred - from the 19th and 20th centuries accounts for about half of the choir's repertoire. The rest of the repertoire is divided between French and International folk music, Holiday music, Showtunes, and a few Gospels. Mélo'Men was organizer of the Various Voices Paris edition in 2005. New York), Queen Elizabeth Hall (Londres), Tonhalle (Zürich)... n/a WEBSITE INSTAGRAM TWITTER FACEBOOK 2002 Manage your Choir information Now you can change, add or remove the information about your choir Want to change your profile picture? - CANONE INVERSO
CORO CANONE INVERSO PADOVA ITALY Type: SATB Founded: 2013 # Wonderful Supporting members 10 # Wonderful members 37 ABOUT We are a male/female chorus open to everyone, with a mostly contemporary pop repertoire. The chorus is made of LGBT and heterosexual people, without discrimination of sexual orientation and gender identity. We sing together to share culture, rights and equality. The group was founded in the spring of 2013 in Padua as a project within the Circolo Arcigay Tralaltro, but soon the success and the need for organizational autonomy led Canone Inverso to constitute an Association in January 2014. Our name “Canone Inverso” (“reverse canon”) refers to a particular contrapuntal structure, in which the same melody, played simultaneously from beginning to end and from end to beginning, harmonizes and produces a more interesting composition that draws its wealth and complexity from its very structure. From this concept comes a parallel that, starting from the very name of our chorus, pays tribute to the people in their multiple facets and relationships, thus assuming in this context a more enticing – and at the same time provocative – meaning. Group dynamics Being a chorus means for us becoming a group that recognizes the reciprocal value of each member, respecting each other, honoring our project and working together for a common purpose. Spreading musical culture The chorus members are coordinated by the musical director but the proposals and the views of everyone are taken into account, because music is high expression of culture and creativity in all its forms and genres and it can be considered a patrimony belonging to each of us. mostly rock/pop/musicals, some classical WEBSITE INSTAGRAM TWITTER FACEBOOK 2016 Manage your Choir information Now you can change, add or remove the information about your choir Want to change your profile picture? - LE ZBOR
LE ZBOR ZAGREB CROATIA Type: SSAA Founded: 2005 # Wonderful Supporting members 0 # Wonderful members 12 ABOUT Based in Zagreb, Croatia, Le Zbor (Le Choir) is the first mixed lesbian and feminist female choir in southeastern Europe. In the ten years since its formation (2005), the choir has gained a reputation as a major promotor of human rights and activism through arts and culture, primarily among the urban youth, but also in the wider audience. Le Zbor have given over 130 performances so far, in all of Croatia and abroad. Apart from concert performances, Le Zbor took part in various art projects (films, theatre shows, fine art exhibitions, fashion shows, even a comic book), and collaborated with famous croatian artists and art collectives (Sanja Ivekovic, Ivana Popovic, Dubravka Crnojevic Caric, Montazstroj). A short documentary film was made about Le Zbor in 2009, entitled «God save Le Zbor». It was shown at several festivals in Croatia, Slovenia, Sebia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia. Le Zbor´s repertoire consists of covers of Croatian and international pop rock hits (by Rammstein, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Velvet Underground, etc), revolutionary songs, and traditional songs in new arrangements. Le Zbor´s specialty are songs about women or songs that address them-the covers of Suada, Jovana, Candy says and Katjusha have left no women indifferent. "Hrvatske budnice" ("Rousing Croatia") is the first album of Le Zbor published by Dirty Old Records in 2012 and represents the six years of the existence and work of Le Zbor. With twelve unforgettable hits, seven illustrations by Helena Janecic; that visually interpret Le Zbor's songs, and an origami cover design by Kuna Zlatica, the Le Zbor CD is a package ready for your visual and audio enjoyment. Inspired by the growing need for promoting lesbian-feminist sociocultural visibility group of feminists started an initiative to form an LGBTIQ choir. Our priority was to create a safe space where members of the LGBTIQ community could be free to express themselves. The space would provide them with the possibility of using music and art to make their contribution to promoting diversity. Le Zbor was organized in October 2005... We felt that the time had come for the city of Zagreb, the country, and this region of Europe, to have their first LGBTIQ choir. n/a WEBSITE INSTAGRAM TWITTER FACEBOOK 2007 Manage your Choir information Now you can change, add or remove the information about your choir Want to change your profile picture?
