The chamber choir amaryllis_berlin was founded in 2023. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to choral music from the Renaissance to classical modernism and contemporary works.

We meet weekly to rehearse together. During additional vocal rehearsals, rehearsal days and weekends, we take time to fine-tune our sound. 

However, our rehearsal time is not only an opportunity to grow musically, but also a time for fellowship and exchange. Respect and a discrimination-sensitive approach are at the heart of what we do - each individual contributes to making our choir a safe space for everyone.

As a queer choir, it is particularly important to us to be visible and to set an example for tolerance and diversity with our music.
